My name is Donna Han and I'm your business coach. I'm here today to help you along your business journey, specifically sharing tips and hacks for mastering your marketing. And today we're diving headfirst into the world of content creation, you know, that magical ingredient that can turn curious onlookers into raving fans and customers. So I want you to grab your notebooks, because I'm about to share with you some ways that you can create content that is truly magnetic. And it starts with understanding your audience. Like they're one of your closest friends. What are their pain points, what keeps them up at night? What are the things that you can help them with that will really shift shift things for them. The more you know about your ideal clients, the more that you can tailor their content to meet their needs. So really important. If you're at the starting point of this, or maybe you've been working on your content for a while and you're finding that it's not quite getting the traction that you're that you would like for it to for you to see. Then it may be that you need to understand your audience more like they were one of your closest friends. Now I think about my client and soaring to success member Ashley Maybin. She is a brand photographer for women and business. She is so super clear on her audience that she magnetizes her clients and has built her regional business to be so strong that in her local area, she is known as the go to person that business owners think of for branding photography. And that's because she provides a quality service. But it's also because she tailors her marketing to their needs to her ideal clients needs she understands her audience. And that's step one is really getting clear and understanding your audience. Step two is harnessing the power of storytelling. So storytelling is the secret sauce of magnetic content marketing. Humans are wired for a good story. When we think about it, ancient cultures share their knowledge through storytelling. It's ingrained in us it's why kids love stories, who doesn't love a good story, right? So sharing your journey through the format of a story is really powerful. And I want to circle back to understanding your audience. Most business owners created their business from a pain point they were experiencing, which means you are most likely your ideal audience. Or at least you were until you discovered the solution to whatever it was, you're going through that pain point. And that now is the business that you're working on growing. So I want to encourage you to share that story, share the story of you know where you are at what you did to change it. And now how you're providing that to the world in order to help more people. So the reason that story is create such become such an amazing strategy for your marketing is because it creates a connection like nothing else. People relate to stories, they see themselves in stories. And that's where the trust and the engagement can really truly blossom. My story, I've been a regional business owner for a long time, this is my fourth business. And what I know to be true is that if you have a business that has potential to grow, you first need to grow as a business owner. And that can be by upskilling, your business knowledge, your strategies, and also your mindset. You also need to have access to a support network that encourage you to step encourages you to step beyond your comfort zone and to play the bigger game. And also, whilst you're on that journey of growth, and you're stretching beyond your comfort zone, you're doing things you've never done before. You also need to have a place where you feel seen where you feel celebrated and to have a confidential space that you can ask questions and get advice and sometimes even and Ravel a little bit when things maybe don't go to plan. And that was me, that's what I needed. That's the help that I needed to grow my previous businesses. But at that time, I didn't want to spend lots of time traveling to my nearest city, which is like 600 K's away, in order to access that level of training and guidance and support. You know, travel is expensive. It's also a big, you know, logistical nightmare to step away from my business and my lifestyle and my family to go and get the training. And often when I would go down to get the training, it wasn't tailored to running a regional business. The challenges are really different, right? You would know that. And so what did I do, I went about creating that, I creating this, I created the soaring to success, membership, to make world class business training and mindset support, accessible and affordable. Because that was the problem I experienced early on in my business journey. And I wanted to change the level of it of accessibility, and affordability, to make it easy for regional business women to be successful in growing or starting or building their profitable business. And that's a part of my story that I share. So my question to you is, what is your story? What is part of your journey that you can share with your ideal clients and customers, to build that connection, to build that trust and rapport and to allow your ideal customers to see themselves in your journey. And the last thing that I want to leave you with here today, is that magnetic marketing isn't magic. Magnetic marketing isn't magic, there is a formula, there is a strategy, there is a framework that sits behind marketing. And when it's applied, that's the magic. That's where the magic comes into play. And where it starts to work like magic. The part that gets overlooked by a lot of business owners, when they're developing out their marketing is the brand message. It's the brand positioning and the brand strength, marketing and branding, we know that they go hand in hand, right? You would know this. But it can become really confusing, right? When you've got the colors and the logos and the fonts and the beautiful images and you jump onto Canva. And you start creating and you make the captions to go along with the creatives. And you spent all this time doing all the things and then you put it out there into the world and you get crickets. And you think well, maybe, maybe I need to do more lives. Or maybe I need to send more emails. And so you start doing that you give it a go and you still get crickets. And so you start looking around, well, what else? What are other people doing? You notice that reels are performing really well for other people. So it's another trend you need jump on that trend. And some reels that you create do really well, and some reels tank. And you're like what am I doing wrong? Why isn't this working? Why is it working for them, but it's not working for me? And so you're wondering like, what am I missing? Is it my offer? Am I just terrible at marketing, maybe your head spinning with all of these things, or truth bomb, the problem? Most probably isn't you, it's most probably not the service that you're offering, it's probably not even the offer itself. The real issue will most likely be that you are missing one of the three core action steps needed to create a magnetic marketing magic for your business. And because you haven't got one or maybe more of those things, one to one, or maybe even all three of those things. It's leaving you feeling stuck and lacking confidence, the confidence that you need to grow your business. And I want to help you to fix that. The second part of this that you need is an understanding of brand positioning and presence. So building your credibility and your confidence to shots to start showing up as the go to in your region, in your area, in your local area, but also online as well. So that's the second part. And the third part to this is understanding and growing your brand strength. So building a highly recognizable brand that resonates and attracts customers, and has them talking about you for all the right reasons, that then quickly leads to sales. So wherever you are on your business journey, right now, whether you're at the start, maybe you're in the messy middle, maybe you're about to take a big growth leap. Working on these three steps, no matter where you're at in your business journey will help to set you up with clarity, and with confidence. And that will in turn, transform the way that you market your business and attract customers to your business without you feeling salesy.
