But let's do a little recap. I started part one talking about why you should aim for six figures and the benefits of reaching that milestone. And then I got into the most important way to speed up your journey to six figures starting with leading into your numbers so that you can manage your finances and grow your profit. And knowing your why as your underlying driver. Next, I'm going to talk about branding, one of my favorite topics. And there is an entire module inside the ready to rise program dedicated to just that. I'm also going to be talking about systems and processes, and not being the world's best kept secret. Let's go.

My name is Donna Hann, I am excited to be sharing with you the second part of speeding your journey towards six figures speeding up your journey. So I'm going to talk about branding, one of my favorite topics. I love, love, love the topic of branding. To grow your business, you need to build your profile, you need to really build your credibility, your authority and your expert status in your industry. And you do that by creating strong content to position your brand to become magnetic to your ideal customer avatar or your ICA. So when you're creating that strong content, to position your brand, you want to be thinking about four different things. Firstly, connection. How can you build a personal level of connection with your ICA that big businesses can't. That's the advantage that we have as small business owners. The second thing is credibility. sprinkling your credentials, your experience, your awards, your features in the media, any milestones that you can throughout your marketing, or reassure your audience that you're a good fit for them. The third thing is your audience is always listening for what's in it for me. So articulate your why and why you do what you do and how it's different. Articulate the pain point that you solve, articulate the gain point that you provide, and also the value that you bring to your ideal customer avatar.

And the fourth thing is to have a call to action. Tell your audience how they can do business with you. What's the easiest way for them to buy from you be really clear about that. The next thing that's going to help you to really speed up your journey towards six figures is don't be the world's best kept secret. Go and find your ICA. Get in front of them. Network, meet people reach out to your contacts, talk to people about what you do and the different things that you offer. Don't wait to be found. Get in front of them. Do what you can to speed up the process for being known in your industry or in your community for the thing that you do best.

What I know for sure is that the number one way to build your business is through word of mouth. So network network network, as they say, network is your net worth. So go out there and network. Now I want to talk about systems and processes. I know it's drab, it's boring. But it's really important. It's so important to create systems and processes for running your business efficiently and effectively. You want to meet the needs and the expectations of your customers, you know, and so, if you want to grow business, you've got to make sure that you've got the foundations in place to support that big growth.

The last thing that you want to happen is that you spend all of this time and energy and money in growing your business towards that six figure mark, only to find that when you get there, everything falls apart, because you haven't got the systems and processes there in place to hold the foundations. Right. So as drab and as boring as it may seem. And at the time, it sort of feels like I'm just wasting my time, I could be doing so much more. The idea here is that not only are you building value in your business that you can actually sell in the future, you're also building systems and processes that you can delegate as you grow your team. And it's also your quality control. If your team if you are following your systems and processes, it means that the customer experience is always going to be consistent. And people will keep coming back to you because of your ability to deliver and meet their expectations. So don't underestimate the importance of systems and processes. Yeah, they're really boring, but they're really powerful. And they're important. Now, my final thought for this episode is I will I know myself, that at times, it's been really lonely as a business owner, you may feel the same way too. You might not know anyone in your local area, who is a business owner, maybe your friends, your partner, you know, they might not understand the pressure and the rollercoaster of emotions that can come with business ownership.

And so my final suggestion is to find a community. And this is why I created a in person monthly event in my local area so that women could get together and connect and support one another. It's also why I created the ready to rise program. And it's why it's a hybrid program. It has group coaching sessions, and a Facebook group in addition to the online course where women build their business, and their knowledge and their skills. It's also why I created the free Facebook group, right because it's an online community where people can access it from anywhere, anytime, of course, you're welcome to join, the link is in the show notes. But I created it because I wanted to have a place where people could connect. In business, we birth new ideas all the time. We also make mistakes from time to time, we juggle business and kids and surrounding yourself with like minded women in business who just just get it. It's incredibly inspiring. It's an absolute necessity for your mindset, in my opinion. You know, watching other women grow their business, I think it can help you to think bigger, and have that kind of mindset of a will if they can, I can too. So seek out a community because it really does change everything and it can absolutely speed up your journey towards six figures.

So in summary, in this two part series, we talked about leaning into your numbers so that you can manage your finances and grow your profit. I talked about the importance of knowing your why as your underlying driver. Building your brand, to magnetize your ideal customer avatar you Don't be the world's best kept secret network, get out there, get in front of your ICA and create those systems and processes running your business efficiently and effectively to meet the needs and expectations of your customers is so important. And finally, find a community for the health of your mindset. Ah, so with dedication, a well thought out plan, leaning into your numbers and doing all of that stuff as well as the fun sexy stuff like marketing and branding and networking and all that sort of stuff. Creating a six figure business is within your reach. Look around at the other businesses that are hitting six figures. If they can do it, it's proof that you can do it too.
